After a little Robin plucked The King of Clay from the court, he very willingly and easily gave up the title to RFed.
The Tennis Gods were smiling down on Roger that day, as he won his first French Open, matched Sampras’ 14 Grand Slams, and followed Andre Agassi’s achievement of winning all 4 Grand Slams.
Boy, oh, boy. Did he work hard for that title.
Unfazed even with this scare.
