“Felicity” shaped my teen years

The dialogue below is one of my absolute favorites. SERIOUSLY. I get so kilig everytime Ben and Felicity get together. ❤ I LOVE. And Ben Covington? SWOOOOON.

*  *  *  *  *

Meghan: This is how I know Felicity still likes you. You ready?

Ben Covington: Yeah. Wha… what is it?

Meghan: Sarah McLachlan.

Ben Covington: What?

Meghan: When Felicity showed up last year, head over heels for you, Sarah McLachlan was all she listened to. If “Fumbling Towards Ecstasy” wasn’t in the CD player, it was only so “Solace” could get a little airplay. I started calling it ‘Ben music’… not to her face but behind her back. But then it went away, and I thought Sarah was gone for good. I almost started celebrating. And then you showed up again. You offered Felicity this cross-country trip of a lifetime, which means I got to memorize every lyric from “Surfacing”… all 10 songs! This year started off McLachlan-heavy, until the big break-up, and then all of Felicity’s hair went away, and so did Sarah. Until you guys broke into the pool. Now maybe it was a coincidence, but guess who started to make a comeback? It was gradual, but constant, and now if you want me to, I can sing any song from “Mirrorball” which really annoys the hell out of me! So if you’re ever curious about whether Felicity has the hots for you, just check her boom box.

Ben Covington: That’s the dumbest theory I’ve ever heard.

Dear Chuvaness,

Not everyone has watched the whole season of Gossip Girl. Would it be so hard to put your Gossip Girl spoilers under a freaking LJ cut?

I like your blog, but please refrain from posting spoilers without warnings next time. 😐

P.S. I can’t wait to eat at Pepper Lunch. It looks really really YUM.

Dear Maria Sharapova,

Please stop choking on your matchpoints. Or if you intend on doing it, please don’t let me stay up late to watch you.

P.S. I really like your earrings. 🙂

Man of the hour

I’ve watched Ironman twice, and it still rocks the second time you’ve watched it. Hihi =) After all the reviews the bottomline for me is this: If Stark wasn’t played by Robert Downey, Jr., the movie would have failed. HE SO TOTALLY ROCKS!

I just realized that RDJ, everytime he surfaces from his addictions, comes up with such good movies (and TV guestings). Remember ‘Chances Are’ with Cybill Shepherd? Or ‘Only You’ with Marisa Tomei? or ‘Heart and Souls’? I loved his movies.

Then his second coming – his stint as Larry in Ally McBeal. I loved that character. He really made Ally less neurotic. And he’s so romantic too. This is where I first found out that he could sing. We even bought the OST where he sang a couple songs. So talented!

Anyway, here’s one of my favorite scenes from that season. He sings with Sting! *squeeeals*

Enjoy. =)

The List

I’ve got a list. Everyone does, actually. Mine’s chocful of unfinished DVDs, TV series, novels and things-to-do. I wanted to keep a list on-line so I could keep track of my progress without losing the scrap of paper 5 minutes after writing them down.

Isn’t this the ultimate act of geekness you could ever think of? Meh. Anyway. I couldn’t keep this list in my Main Blog since I update it almost daily, and it gets tedious leafing through the links until I find the entry with that list, and then update it and then blahblahblah please somebody tell me to shut the blabbering.

Anyway’s here’s the one I’ve been yammering about for the last five minutes.
